Michelle Jenkins, M.D.
Dr. Michelle Jenkins joined NAPC in July 2001 and works full time in our Cumming location. Dr. Jenkins grew up in Atlanta and attended The University of Georgia for her undergraduate degree. She attended The Medical College of Georgia for her medical degree and then entered the U.S. Army to begin her internship and residency training at Eisenhower Army Medical Center in Augusta, Georgia. After her training Dr. Jenkins served as a staff physician at Noble Army Hospital at Ft. McClellan, AL for two years and then returned to Eisenhower Hospital to serve as a professor of family medicine in their residency program for two years. Dr. Jenkins is married to her husband Tom and they have three children. Dr. Jenkins is active in the community, volunteering as team physician for local sports teams, participating in physical exam clinics at local schools and serving for several years on the board of directors for a local crisis pregnancy center. Her loves include her family, Bible study, teaching and tennis.
